These were made for the Yorkhill Hospital craft fair, as part of the Mumsnet "Wooly Hug" group.
Earlier this year, a Mumsnetter's daughter sadly died of leukaemia at this hospital. It has been traditional for Mumsnet members to make a knitted/ crocheted blanket for bereaved members and, as an extension to this, we decided to make mini blankets for the hospital to hand out to parents as a comfort object during their child's stay in hospital. From there, we somehow ended up with a stall at their craft fair... hence the bear brooches, which are my contribution.
