It's going to be lairy...

This is an ongoing blanket project. It's going to take a fair time to finish and it's not even for me!

As part of the Mumset "Woolly Hugs" project, this will be a blanket for World Child Cancer and will bring some comfort to a child with cancer in a country with far less medical facilities than the UK.

This blanket, which should end up big enough for an older child, is 5 rows of V stitch forming stripes. It will hopefully use every shade of Stylecraft Special DK. Yes, even the eye burningly bright ones! That orange stripe is pure Hi Vis Orange!

In other Woolly Hug News, I am crocheting a Giant Anteater. Giant in name, not in size!  This is for a Mumsnetter's child who is going into hospital for important surgery. When asked what she wanted on the blanket she said "Giant Anteater" and it seems I am the crocheter for the job!

There are also many UFOs lurking about. I prefer to think of them as WIPs as I do plan the finish them at some point. Unfortunately, there is always a new and more interesting project lurking round the corner.
