So, having seen the new year in whilst sewing a donut out of felt, I'm left feeling rather flat. Mainly because I can't find any stuffing to stuff the flat donut with but also because theres another year stretching ahead of me. However I soon lay eyes on an old, tatty cushion and, in the spirit of recycling, I'm in there with my scissors and soon pulling its innards out with gusto. Eventually the donut is stuffed and looking good enough to eat. Baby Dragon (4 going on 13) will be delighted and, of course, it is her I've made it for after all.
However, having successfully conquered deep fried batter, I'm keen for a new challenge. Having recently rediscovered my pinking shears it's obvious - Ravioli.
