I wandered lonely as a cloud,

Spring has Sprung
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils.

So, here is my finished vase of crocheted daffodils. A little bit of spring to last all year! I used this pattern and then attached the flowers to garden cane wrapped in green wool. I think I need to add a couple of long leaves to complete the look as I'm not entirely happy with the stems; I think they may be a little long and thin.

The really expensive vase is something I'm rather pleased with - it's a mini milk bottle which I found in some woods a couple of weeks ago. All green and mucky, it cleaned up a treat with a good scrub in the sink and two trips through the dishwasher. It reminds me of the milk we used to get in primary school.

So another part of the House Makeover complete without spending a single penny.
