Junk Art

Whilst investigating a hitherto unexplored footpath, I stumbled across this great flower made of bottle caps pushed into a tree. I wonder if the bottle caps were all bought here en masse or if the drinks were drunk in situ? 


I suspect the former as there were no empties littering the area. I'd like to think it is a deliberate work of art rather than drunken randomness. 


It seems such an odd thing to do - there is no obvious Teen Den, it is not right on the footpath and there are many more accessible trees. One of those minor mysteries of life we stumble across which will never be answered.

I must go back on a sunny day and visit it with my proper camera.
